Essential sign-in cookie

RiffLab uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep an account signed in, protect forms and control access to Studio. It expires when the browser session ends or after an extended period of inactivity. It is required for the member service.

Local browser storage

The service stores microphone preference, immediate learning progress and practice settings in the browser so interactive tools respond quickly. Signed-in progress and learning settings are also synchronised to the account. This storage is functional and not used for advertising.

Payments

When Stripe checkout or its customer portal is opened, Stripe may use its own cookies and similar technologies for payment security and fraud prevention. Stripe provides information about those technologies on its service.

Analytics

This release does not set advertising cookies. RiffLab will update this notice and provide any legally required choices before adding non-essential analytics or marketing technologies.
